Very tasty food at fair prices, very nice service. You sit very nicely in the beer garden.

Gasthof on the trail to Große Rachel. If a man is after a 6-hour walk and without food on the way, that is terribly hungry, and if the order did not taste good for him, a hungry tourist, then probably something is completely wrong. The ordered dishes are a set of grilled meats, the best of which was the salad. If someone is serving something from the grill, the first question he should ask is the degree of frying (that's how I usually did). Here the meat was fried and rather not on the grill but in a frying pan with lots of something fatty for 17.99 € I was expecting something different. Clean, well ... the toilet is pretty dirty. Service nice. There is a small car park next to the restaurant.

So delicious. Only 3 days ago the trout, today the beef sirloin with chanterelles and hash browns. Everything to my liking. Totally tender. I can't do that at home. Also fast, friendly and attentive service. Dogs are also very welcome here.

Very good tasty food. Good home cooking, very generous portions. Everyone gets fed up. The menu is very extensive. Gasthof very cozy and inviting to linger. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A very special praise to the very good and tastefully unsurpassed kitchen with lovingly prepared dishes. The Gutsgasthof is an absolute must on your visit to Oberfrauenau

Very nicely located, there are only shady spots and the sheep graze right next to it. The gravy is highly recommended.

The service is super friendly. The food is all homemade. Had the best onion roast ever. Venison goulash the spaetzle were homemade and the food was great. The naturally cloudy cyclist was also a pleasure. Nice location and right now with Corona everything is kept as best as possible. Disinfected tables afterwards. Were very satisfied and would come back anytime. The price was reasonable and we were full afterwards. Gladly again anytime

Great location and can be combined nicely with hiking or cycling trips around the area. Unfortunately the food waiter ruins it completely. Obnoxious and passive aggressive behavior and ignorant. Kitchen could not serve food for the table at the same time. Overpriced Rinderlende was chewy and served with oversalted not matching sauce. I had much better meat before in my life. To be fair, other dishes on the table were ok and guests happy. Cash only is another big disadvantage but so what. Drink waiter is very friendly. Whole location experience works probably best if you just go for cake and coffee.

Good cuisine, quick, humorous service, price performance very good

Beautiful surroundings, nice staff, and it was lightning fast until the food was ready. Huge portions and it tasted good. Unfortunately the dressing killed the lettuce, the meat came out of the deep fryer and the cutlets that were released were delivered as pork loin. Too bad.

On Sunday, we were in nice weather in the beer garden. For our hungry hiking group we found three tables. After some time, the waiter came, with a lot of joke he took our order, it wanted a guest to order the dessert, which was not possible. After 15 minutes you served the drinks. The ordered food was served after one hour. All the food looked delicious and almost all were plentiful, the spinach dumplings of a guest did not look too full. It tasted to all who got the food. Two people were served no food. We then spoke to the second waiter who said he asks. Nothing came, no feedback. The second waiter came past our table, he was asked again where the food stays. He did not come anymore. In the meantime, the last arrived table after 30 minutes still had not received a drink, to Ober 1, they ordered the drinks and have closed. Unfortunately, it worked only slowly with the pay after the waiter did not come. are the first in the restaurant and have paid and have said again that the others also want to pay. After some time, the upper 1 came, he asked me why I'm so angry. Then I told him something. We were there for 1.5 hours and then drove home hungry. Food is very good if you get something. The two upper are overwhelmed with a full beer garden.

Inn with Bavarian flair. Tastefully decorated, nice service very tasty food. Especially recommended the steam beer goulash. Come back very happy in the next vacation.

Super nice, cozy beer garden. A great service. First a long walk and then enjoy the delicious food in the beer garden. What more do you need. We were all very satisfied and will be back for sure.

Super friendly staff here everything fits. Outside in the open are the tables under the trees which, with their various fruits, work great as shade providers. The animals that are waiting behind the fence for the kids are not averse to petting units. The food is delicious and fast. Affordable for everyone because they are simply cheap We'll definitely come back here. Should I have to take a detour because of that, I'll come back anyway
